Teeth Whitening in Orléans
BRIGHTENING YOUR SMILE
Teeth naturally darken over time. Coffee, tea, wine, and even certain medications can add to the change. Brushing helps, but it can’t remove all the deeper stains. That’s where whitening comes in. Professional treatments use stronger, safer solutions than anything sold in a store, giving results you can actually see.
TWO WAYS TO WHITEN
Some patients want results quickly. For them, an in-office whitening session is the best choice. Others prefer to whiten more gradually, at home and on their own schedule. Custom trays let you do just that. Both options aim for the same outcome — a brighter smile — but the pace and process differ.
WHAT TO EXPECT
During in-office whitening, a protective barrier is placed around the gums, and the whitening gel is applied directly to the teeth. The process usually takes about an hour. With take-home trays, we create molds of your teeth so the trays fit snugly. You then use a whitening gel at home over several days or weeks.
IS WHITENING FOR EVERYONE?
Whitening isn’t right for every patient. It won’t change the color of crowns, veneers, or fillings, and people with certain sensitivities may need to avoid it. That’s why an exam comes first — so we can be sure whitening is safe and effective for your situation.
A NATURAL REFRESH
Patients often describe whitening as a simple way to feel better about their smile. It doesn’t replace good dental care, but it can be a nice boost when stains build up over the years.
